XV EAAE Congress “Towards Sustainable Agri-Food Systems: Balancing between Markets and Society”
PROHEALTH was featured in a special session entitled “Economic rationale of controlling production diseases in broiler and pigmeat production”, organised by Jarkko Niemi, Luke.
The session examined the role of production diseases in the food system from different perspectives: it elaborated the controlling of production diseases as an economic issue, analyzed the consumers’ and producers’ views on ways to reduce these diseases, and discussed potential controversies and common interests related to the production methods.
